10 Best Road Trip Movies | Fodors
Speaking of road trips, Fodors picks its favorite road trip movies including the great Planes, Trains and Automobiles. It’s a nicely varied list, but, c’mon, no National Lampoon’s Vacation? Sacrilege.

So David Gilmour and joined Roger Waters on stage to jam “Comfortably Numb” on The Wall tonight at the 02 in London. According to Rolling Stone:
Last July – shortly before Waters began his Wall tour – he played a brief set with Gilmour at a benefit for the Hoping Foundation. They closed the set with a cover of Phil Spector’s “To Know Him Is To Love Him.” Waters initially told Gilmour that he wouldn’t sing the song with him because of Gilmour’s “superior vocal skills.”
“I clung resolutely to my fear of failure until one day he made one final entreaty,” Waters wrote on Facebook. “I quote ‘If you do ‘To Know Him Is To Love Him’ for the Hoping Foundation Gig, I’ll come and do ‘C. Numb’ on one of your Wall shows”. Well! You could have knocked me down with a feather. How fucking cool! I was blown away. How could I refuse such an offer. I couldn’t, there was no way.”
To end the show, Nick Mason joined Waters and Gilmour on stage for “Outside the Wall” to make the Pink Floyd reunion complete (excepting Richard Wright, who passed away in 2008). It was only the 2nd time the band has performed together since they split up in the early 80s.
Unfortunately this was a one-off thing and there are no plans for a reunion. A massive reissue project is in the works that will include “rarities, alternative tracks and unheard material ‘from the very back of the cupboard’.”
Still, damn all you lucky bastards that got to see this tonight!
